Borderlands 2 is coming

It seems like some of those involved with Borderlands have high expectations for a sequel to hit the shelves along side its predecessor. Gearbox's Creative Director, Mike Neumann, stated last month, “if everything makes sense, Borderlands 2 seems like a no-brainer to me.”




Strauss Zelnick, chairman of Take-Two was quoted stating comments hinting at more Borderlands sequels to come, as well. He explained that Take-Two has “longterm publishing rights to sequels to Borderlands” and that the game “looks like another terrific franchise” for them.



At the UBS 37th Annual Globe Media and Communications Conference last week, Zelnick was also quoted saying, Borderlands is an “important, longterm franchise”.



It seems like Borderlands is turning out to be a perfect Holiday gift!
